Learn the Basics of Indigenous Beading

Discover the art of traditional Indigenous beadwork with our Red Dress Pin Workshop — a fun and creative way to learn the fundamentals of flat stitch beadwork while taking part in a meaningful and interactive cultural practice. $10 from each purchase will go to the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women.

This 1 hour class will teach you everything you need to know to make a red dress pin, which you take home at the end of the class.

All supplies are included — so you can simply show up ready to create.
Participants will also have the option to purchase additional beads in their choice of colors.

Beverages will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring a box lunch to enjoy during the session.

Please note that our instructional craft classes are designed for adult participants, and we kindly request that attendees refrain from bringing children to ensure a focused and enjoyable experience for all participants.
